Shredders are used  to minimize volume of waste and to facilitate burning dry waste in an incinerator.

Glass Crusher, type U-80

The U-80 glass crusher is an easy solution for treatment of large volumes of glass. The bottles are manually fed through the feed pipe and the glass pieces are collected in a standard 80 liter wheelie bin.
The crusher produces pieces of about 40 mm diameter which makes them acceptable for recycling. Too small pieces make it impossible to detect porcelain, which destroys the glass melt, and is therefore not accepted for recycling. The volume reduction is approximately 80%. No glass smoke is produced when crushing the glass bottles. The machine is  fitted with a level indicator that stops the crusher when the bin is full to prevent overfilling.

Mini-shredder, type UMS-2530

This shredder transforms plastic bottles and aluminum cans into flakes (12 x 50 mm) which minimizes volume and enables contained residual liquid to be drained and taken care of. The inlet and collector bin are made to suit the customer requirements. The material in the knives is of homogenous extreme high
strength hardened steel. When overloaded the shredder reverses in order to turn the material, then the shredder starts again. The number of repetitions before complete stop can be adjusted in accordance with type of duty. It is equipped with an easy to use feeding hopper and its compact design makes it easy to fit in tight compartments. The volume reduction is more than 80 %.
